TYPICAL APPLICATION
Chemical industry, heavy industry,
ramps where high wear resistance and
chemical resistance is required. Specially
made for engineering plants, dairies,
breweries, refineries, paint workshops,
battery rooms & food processing
plants. Can also be used as a repair
mortar.
DIRECTIONS FOR
USE
SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface has to be cleaned to remove
all loose particles, laitance oils
& grease etc. All contaminations
are got rid of both my mechanical
methods like wire brushing, scrubbing
and by using CHOKSEY'S MASTERKLEAN
range of cleaning agents. The surface
has to be dry to receive the Techfloor
Mortar.
APPLICATION OF PRIMER
Masterprime 54 is applied at the rate
of 200 - 250 g/m². When primer
is tacky Techfloor Mortar can be applied.
Primer is not essential for certain
repair jobs.
MIXING
Part II (Hardener) is first mixed
with Part I (Base). Then Part III
(filler) is slowly poured into mix
and mixed using mechanical stirrer.
Mixing is done by a drilling machine-
paddle arrangement with a rpm of 350-400
for about 2-3 minutes till a uniform
mix is obtained.
APPLICATION
The mixed material should be applied
to the already primed surface within
20 minutes. It should be applied when
the primer surface is still “tacky”,
care should be taken to see that TECHFLOOR
MORTAR is firmly pressed into cracks
to ensure good adhesion. The material
can be built up to a maximum thickness
of 12mm in case of vertical applications.
PRECAUTIONS
TECHFLOOR MORTAR should be handled
with gloves. If it falls on to eyes,
they have to be washed with plenty
of water and medical advice has to
be taken. The tools can be cleaned
with MASTERKLEAN range of cleaning
agents.
COVERAGE
TECHFLOOR MORTAR required per mm thickness
per sq.mtr. 2 Kg. to 2.2 Kg.
SUPPLY: 8 Kg. and
16 Kg. packs and also as per customer
requirements.
SHELF LIFE : 1 year.
