DIRECTIONS FOR USE
SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface has to be dry, sound &
free from loose particles. This can
be achieved by grit blasting or sand
blasting or griding and water jetting.
The surface should not contain any
laitance, grease, oil or any other
contamination. Use Choksey's 'Masterklean
range of products for the same. For
leveling the substrate use Choksey's
Epoxy based "Techfloor mortar"/
CHOKSEY’S Epoxy Putty. When
applying on steel surfaces they should
be sand or grit blasted. Small areas
can be cleaned with wire brush.
MIXING OF MASTERPRIME 50
The pre-weighed ready to use components
of MASTERPRIME 50 are mixed thoroughly
with a mechanical stirrer with a rpm
of 300-350.
The mixing should be done till we
get a homogenous colour of the mixed
material.
The material is brushed on the well
prepared surface by a standard paintbrush,
good quality lamb wool roller or sprayed
with an airless spray equipment. Care
should be taken to ensure continuous
film and proper material consumption.
COVERAGE: The coverage
will be 5 to 7 m² per Kg. Coverage
varies depending upon substrate condition.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE:
SHELF LIFE : 1 year. Store the material
at a cool and dry place.
CLEANING OF TOOLS & EQUIPMENTS
Tools have to be cleaned using Choksey's
Masterklean SOL.
PACKING: 1 Kg. and 5 Kg.
PRECAUTIONS:
MASTERPRIME 50 should be applied with
gloves and care should be taken to
see that it does not fall on eyes.
Splashes on to the skin have to be
cleaned only with plenty of water
and medical advice has to be taken.
It is highly inflammable.
