DIRECTIONS
FOR USE
SURFACE, PREPARATION
The surface has to be dry, sound &
free from loose particles. This can
be
achieved by grit blasting or sand
blasting or grinding and water jetting.
The surface should not have moisture
content of more than 4%. The surface
should not contain any laitance, grease,
oil or any other contamination. Use
Choksey's Masterklean
range of products for the same. For
levelling the substrate use epoxy
putty or mortar. When applying on
steel surfaces they should be sand
or grit blasted. Small areas
can be cleaned with wire brush.
PRIMING
A primer coat of Masterprime 52 a
solvented primer should be given while
coating Mastercoat EP250 on floors.
Masterprime 52 will give a coverage
of about 6 sqm per Kg.
MIXING OF MASTERCOAT EP250
The preweighed ready to use components
of Mastercoat EP250 are mixed thoroughly
with a mechanical stirrer with rpm
of 300-350. The mixing should be done
till we
get a homogenous colour of the mixed
material.
APPLICATION OF MASTERCOAT
EP 250
The material is applied on the well
prepared surface by a standard paintbrush,
good quality lambwool roller or sprayed
with airless spray equipment. Care
should be
taken to ensure continuous film and
proper material consumption.
COVERAGE
The coverage will be 2.5 to 3.5 m²/Kg
per coat.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
1 year. Store the material at a cool
and dry place (at 25°C .)
CLEANING OF TOOLS & EQUIPMENTS:
Clean with Choksey's Masterklean SOL.
PACKING: 5Kg and 2.5 Kg.
PRECAUTIONS: MASTERCOAT
EP 250 should be applied with gloves
and care
should be taken to see that it does
not fall on eyes. Splashes on to the
skin
have to be cleaned only with plenty
of water only and medical advice has
to be taken. |
