Masterspeed – ANC is a concrete plasticizer and set rate accelerator. On addition of concrete it disperses the cement particles which improves the workability and accelerates the setting time of concrete.

Typical Characteristics

:
Straw colour
 Specific gravity at 30°C
:
1.26 to 1.28
 AIR ENTRAINMENT

Approximately 1% additional over control

  CHLORIDE CONTENT

:

NIL, According to IS 456-1978, BS-5075

Features / Advantages
  • MASTERSPEED ANC is a chloride free accelerator and does not affect concrete, hence can be effectively used in pre-stressed and pre-cast concrete industry.
  • MASTERSPEED ANC can be effectively used in cold atmospheric condition where reduction of set rate of concrete is very important.
  • It is specifically formulated to reduce water content and reduce set rate, both early and ultimate strengths will be highly improved.
  • It can be used both in PCC and RCC.

Typical Applications

  • Structural concrete.
  • Concrete Blocks.
  • Concrete pipes.
  • Precast items
  • Cold weather masonry work for use in stucco, brick laying, blocks and clay tiles laying mortars.

Standards

MASTERSPEED ANC complies with IS 9103-1999, BS 5075-Part-1 and ASTIM-c494 Type “C” as an accelerating admixture.

Direction for use
MASTERSPEED ANC can be used with all standard cement types. MASTERSPEED ANC of required quantity should be added to concrete at the end of mixing operation for better results. The concrete should be mixed for atleast a minute after addition of MASTERSPEED ANC. Attention should be oaid to ASTM, BS, DIN and IS specifications relating to mixing times and general conditions for the production, application and curing of concrete.

Dosage
The dosage range is from 0.50 litre to 1.20 litre per 50 kg of cement. The optimum dosage has to be ascertained by site trials. An over dose of MASTERSPEED ANC leads to further acceleration of set rate of concrete but does not affect the ultimate strength of concrete.

Storage & Shelf Life

2 years

Packing
5 ltrs, 20 ltrs and 200 ltrs

Precautions
MASTERSPEED ANC is non toxic. Any splashes should be washed well with water. Rubber gloves and safety glasses are to be used. Any splashes in to the eyes should be washed immediately with plenty of water and take medical advice.
