Specifications Complies
- Indian Standard Specification
IS 9103-1973
- British Standard Specification
BS 5075 Part I
- ASTM Type G
Features /
Advantages
- It permits the reduction of water
to cement ratio.
- Due to water reduction it increases
not only early and ultimate compressive
strength but strength of the concrete
of all ages
- It retains the workability of
concrete for few hours.
- It gives retardation properties
for 4 to 6 hours which helps to
avoid cold joints
in concrete. It reduces segregation
in the concrete.
- It improves finished appearance
of the concrete by minimising honey-combed
surface. It reduces energy required
for curing.
- It allows lowering of cement
without affecting the normal strengths
of the concrete.
- Non-foaming.
- Non-toxic.
- It does not contain Chlorides
or Nitrates or Sulphides.
- It does not corrode the reinforcements.
Usage
- Precast concrete
- Prestressed concrete
- Ready mix concrete, closely spaced
areas, large bay areas, floor slabs,
roof decks & other structures
etc. Mainly used in situation where
slump retention property is required.
Retains slump upto 3 hours.
- Workability retention and retardation
upto few hours are obtained.

Direction for use
DOSAGE:
Dose of 0.20 to 0.75 Litre
per 50 Kg of cement is usually sufficient
to produce flowing concrete. Optimum
dose is best determined by trial concrete
mixes, otherwise normal dose of 300
cc per 50 Kg of cement is recommended.
Add MASTERPLAST SPL-3
to the mixing (gauging) water. Stir
well the material before use.
CLEANING OF TOOLS & EQUIPMENTS
Tools and equipments can be cleaned
with water.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
Store the material in a cool and dry
place (at 25°C Temp.) Shelf life
is two years.
PACKING
5 Litre, 20 Litre., 200 Litre
PRECAUTIONS
Do not mix with dry cement.
Add to mixing (gauging) water or directly
to the wet mix.
Stir well before use.
