MASTERPLAST SPL-10 is high performance super plasticiser with high strength properties. It is a liquid plasticising admixture for cement concrete and mortar. It has a powerful dispersing and deflocculating effect on the particles of cement. It makes the concrete flowing and self-compacting with an added advantage of high early and long term strength. It allows concrete to be easily compacted with minimum vibrations. It allows upto 25% water reduction in gauging water of concrete mix.

Features / Advantages

  • Due to water reduction it increases not only early and ultimate compressive strength but strength of the concrete of all ages.
  • It retains the workability of concrete for about two hours.
  • It gives retardation properties for 4 to 6 hours which helps to avoid cold joints in concrete.
  • It reduces segregation in the concrete.
  • It improves finished appearance of the concrete by minimising honeycombed surface.
  • It allows lowering of cement content without affecting the normal strengths of the concrete.
  • Non-foaming & Non-toxic
  • It does not contain Chlorides.
  • It does not corrode the reinforcements.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

DOSAGE:

Dose of 0.10 to 0.75 ltrs. per 50 kg of cement is usually sufficient to produce self compacting and flowing concrete. Optimum dose is best determined by trial concrete mixes, otherwise normal dose of 300 cc per 50 kg. of cement is recommended.

Add MASTERPLAST SPL-10 to the mixing (gauging) water. Stir well the material before use.

CLEANING OF TOOLS & EQUIPMENTS
Tools and equipments can be cleaned with water.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
Store the material in a cool and dry place (at 25°C Temp.) Shelf life is two years.

PACKING

5Litre, 20Litre, 200Litre / 250 Kg. Packing / as per customer requirements [for bulk quantities.]

PRECAUTIONS
Do not mix with dry cement.
Add to mixing (gauging) water or directly to the wet mix.
