MASTERPLAST PL-1 is liquid plasticizing admixture (additive) for cement concrete. It reduces the water requirement for concrete mix to attain a given workability. It may be used to reduce cement content of concrete mix without affecting the strength. It is an economical solution of plasticizing concrete and enables the concrete designer to achieve any one or a combination of three main properties as under:

  • Improvement in workability (flow).
  • Increase in strength.
  • Saving in cement requirement.

Direction for use

Dosage
Dose of 0.1 to 0.25 Itrs.. cc per 50 kgs bag of cement is usually sufficient to produce self compacting and flowing concrete. Optimum dose is best determined by trial concrete mixes, otherwise normal dose of 150 cc per 50 Kgs. bag of cement is recommended.

Use the dispenser or measuring container. Add Masterplast PL-1 to the mixing (gauging) water. Stir well the material before use.

Cleaning of tools & Equipment
Tools and equipments can be cleaned with water.

Storage and shelf life
Store the material at a cool & dry place (at 25°C Temp. & 50% RH). Shelf life is one year. It will freeze at (thawing) temperatures but can be reconstituted by stirring.

Packing

150 ml, 1 Litre., 5 Litre, 20 Litre, 200 Litre.

Precautions

  • Do not mix it with dry cement.
  • Add to mixing (gauging) water or directly to the mix
  • Stir well before use
